Our vision is to build the ultimate tool for theater crew management - by stagehands, for stagehands.
This roadmap shows what we're working on and what's coming next. Priorities may shift based on user feedback and real-world needs.

Public Beta Launch
Opening CallBoard to a broader user base with offline support, real-time notifications, and polished user experience. This is when we start bringing in more stagehands and gathering feedback from diverse use cases.
Company Management System
The big one. Labor companies and production companies can create profiles, manage crew rosters, and offer calls directly to stagehands. This is the B2B SaaS feature that turns CallBoard into a revenue-generating platform while making life easier for production managers and stagehands alike.

Discover new crew through mutual connections. Trusted stagehands can refer others in their network to companies, growing everyone's opportunities while maintaining quality.
Direct Messaging
In-app communication between stagehands and production managers. Coordinate details, share updates, and ask questions without leaving CallBoard.
Native Mobile Apps
Native iOS and Android applications with all PWA features plus native OS integrations, better performance, and app store distribution.
Equipment Inventory Management
Track your personal gear, rental equipment, and tool inventory. Know what you own, what's out on loan, and what needs maintenance.
Tax Reporting & Export
Comprehensive year-end tax summaries with expense categorization. Export reports for accountants and integrate with popular tax software.
Time Tracking & Timesheets
Detailed time tracking for complex productions with multiple departments. Generate timesheets for payroll and track hours across long-running shows.

The road to 1.0: We'll reach version 1.0 when multiple labor companies are actively using CallBoard daily, company-specific features are battle-tested, and we're confident the platform is ready for broader market launch.
